Admirals (Subfamily Limenitidinae)
SUBFAMILY DESCRIPTION: The Limenitidinae are members of the
Family Nymphalidae. These admirals and relatives are found on most
continents. Adults of most genera are characterized by their
flap-and-glide flight. Caterpillar and chrysalis structure defines
this group.
