Sulphurs (Subfamily Coliadinae)
SUBFAMILY DESCRIPTION: Sulphurs are members of the Family
Pieridae. In North America, sulphurs range from Mexico to northern
Canada. Females of most species are distinctly different from males.
Some species are mud-puddlers and will collect around muddy pools
on dirt roads. Sulphurs overwinter as larvae.
